CONDITIONS TO GET POINTS:)
You
can score up to 176 points for all World Cup stages. Try to make your best
predictions, keeping in mind the following conditions to get points.
Stage
A – First Round
You
have to predict:
- Ranking
of a team within its group (from 1 to 4). You get 0.5 points for each right
prediction.
- Performance
of each team within its group (won, draw and lost matches). Also you get
here 0.5 points for each right prediction.
Stage
B – Second round
If
you
are right in predicting who is a match winner you get 1 point. If you are right
in predicting how a match winner passes through (regulation time, extra time or
through a penalty shootout) you get 1.25 points. If you excel in predicting a
match score you get 1.5 points.
Stage
C – Quarter-finals
If
you are right in predicting who is a match winner you get 1.5 points. If you
excel in predicting how a victory is achieved (regulation
time, extra time or through a penalty shootout) you
get 2 points. You get a much better score with 2.5 points if you state
exactly the result of a match score.
Stage
D – Semi-finals
If
you excel in predicting a match winner you get 3 points. If you excel in
predicting how a victory is achieved to pass to an upper stage you get 3.5
points (by regulation
time, extra time or through a penalty shootout).
If you state exactly the result of a match score you get 4 points.
Third
Place: For a match winner 4.5 points; for predicting how a victory is
achieved (as above), 5 points; and 5.5 points for stating exactly the
result of a match score.
Stage
E – Final
Finally, if you are able to predict exactly a match winner you get 6 points. If you excel in predicting how a victory is achieved (as above) you get 7 points. If you state exactly the result of a match, you get 9 points.
